It is reported that Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) had just filed a petition with regard to the disqualification of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif. This petition has been filed in the with the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) This filing of the petition has been done by the PPP secretary general named as Sardar Latif Khosa and also by the former National Assembly deputy speaker named as Faisal Karim Kundi.

They have put up these charges that Pakistan prime minister and also his four relatives did not at all fulfill and come up with the criteria under Articles 62 and also 63 of the Constitution. On the other hand, Pakistan Tehreek-iInsaf (PTI) had also filed a disqualification case. It is to the Pakistan prime minister as well. PTI has put up allegation on Nawaz Sharif that he has failed to justify his offshore companies that had been revealed in the Panama Papers.

Petition filed by PPP for the disqualification of Punjab Chief Minister

  • It is also heard that PPP part hs also filed the case for the disqualification of Punjab Chief Minister named as Shahbaz Sharif right from the Punjab Assembly. They have filed a case against Finance Minister Ishaq Dar as well from the Senate. Names of retired Captain Mohammad Safdar who is the husband of Maryam Nawaz Sharif and also Hamza Shahbaz is on the list too.
  • Now, ECP will be appointing eligible and new members in its commission. They will be trying to find a legal way to get done with this crisis as soon as possible. ECP Secretary Babar Yaqoob Fateh Muhammad told the media that they have received these files and petitions and working on them has been started.

On the other hand, it is also heard that APML and also Pakistan Awami Tehreek will also be submitting their petitions right in the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) so that they can also submit their case for the disqualification of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.
