As we all know that Arfa Karim Randhawa has extinguished from this world. She is still the beacon of light for all of us. Just at the age of nine, she was the world’s youngest Microsoft Certified Professional. Arfa Karim Randhawa was also presented the Fatima Jinnah Gold Medal right in the field of science and technology. She had also been given the Salaam Pakistan Youth Award. By far, she has been youngest person who has been awarded the President’s Award for Pride of Performance. It can be said that this young girl will always be the source of inspiration for all of us.
How Arfa Karim Randhawa left us?
This young Arfa left us because she was cut short by cardiac arrest in the time of December. She died in Lahore on some Saturday night. Because of her death at such a young age, she has touched the lives of many of the strangers. We also came to know that her funeral procession that took place in her ancestral village of Ramdewali which is near Faisalabad was also attended by many of the people who had never and ever met her even! After her death, this announcement was made by the Sindh government that the IT Media City in Karachi will now be renamed in this 16-yearold’s honour, which is Arfa Karim Randhawa.
What kind of talent Arfa Karim Randhawa had in her?
She is the wonder in her own self. She had that unexplored and unrecognized abilities lied within herself that forced her to make more and more wonders. She has that real potential. If she can tap that real potential in herself then all of the millions of Pakistan’s young people should also be able to tap that potential that lies within them.
It is the time that stories like that of Arfa Karim Randhawa should come to light. It is the time Pakistan government should now be giving a chance to all of the young people so that they can have more space and explore more of the opportunities. We now need to develop more of the kids like that of Arfa Karim Randhawa. What we can do is to keep on conducting annual talent hunts in all fields of endeavor. Right now, our country is in dire and extreme need of role models.
